Another new Sherman book from SabIngaMartin Publications!!

Dr. Robert Manasherob of SabIngaMartin Publications has sent in news about his soon to be released book on the Israeli M1 Sherman:

This book is volume 12 in the “Lioness and Lion of the Line” series on Israeli Sherman tanks in IDF service and covers the M1 Sherman tanks during service in IDF (Part 1).

Authored by Dr. Robert Manasherob, a world recognized expert on Israeli military tanks and vehicles, this book contains dozens of new and never published photos, new and accurate info and facts, results of several years of research, 1/35 scale drawings of M1 tanks, color profiles, more than 240 photos including action photos, crew photos, walk around photos, unique markings and illustrations.

Amongst the contents are the following:

■80 pages – B&W and full color

■More than 240 B&W and color photos and illustrations

■Dozens of unique and previously unpublished photos

■1/35 scale line drawings

New Israeli Tanker Figures from SabIngaMartin!

Dr. Robert Manasherob of SabIngaMartin Publications has provided the following images of his new 1/35 scale Israeli Tanker figures.

 

First up is set #SIM-14:

 

This 2 figure set features two Israeli tankers sitting on top of a tank turret.  This set retails for $30.00 plus shipping.

 

Next up is set #SIM-15:

 

This two figure set features the same figures from set SIM-14 but with different heads, as seen in the photo above.  It too retails for $30.00 plus shipping.

 

The final set is SIM-16:

 

This set features an Israeli tank commander and dog figures.  Retail price is $22.50 plus shipping.

New items from Tank Workshop!

Jay at Tank Workshop has sent in an update about two of his latest releases in 1/48 and 1/35 scale.  First up, in 1/35 scale are GTK Boxer MRAV wheels, kit #TWS1044, for the Revell of Germany GTK Boxer kit.

This set retails for $20.00 and is now available.

 

The 1/48 release is a rather oddball vehicle based on the good ol' Sherman tank.  IDF M4 Sherman Live Target conversion, kit#TWS48208, requires Hobby Boss kit #84803 or 84805 (not included) in order to build this "live target" tank used by the IDF.  This resin conversion was mastered by Steve Faxon.

This kit is now available and retails for $28.00.

More Israeli Sherman stuff from SabIngaMartin!

SabIngaMartin Publications is well known for its fine line of books on Arab and Israeli armor.  Recently, Dr. Manasherob has started producing decals and figures to go with the book line up.  Today, he released 5 new Israeli Sherman related items.

First up is M50 & M51 Sherman Tanks-Part 1, SIM-006.  This 1/35 decal set covers multiple tanks as seen in Lion and Lioness of the Line, volumes 1 & 2.

Next is M50 Sherman Tanks-Part 2, SIM-007.  This set covers M50 tanks seen in Lion and Lioness of the Line, volumes 1 & 2.

Last up is M50 Sherman Tanks-Part 3, SIM-008.  This set covers even more M50's seen in Lion and Lioness of the Line, volumes 1 & 2.

All of the above sets are available for $10.00 plus shipping.  No word yet if they will be available in 1/48 or 1/72 scales.

Along with the decal sets, 2 sets of resin detail parts are now available.  First off is Early IDF Sherman Storage Boxes, Part 1, SIM-009.

These boxes are seen on Shermans featured in Lion and Lioness of the Line, volumes 5 & 6.

Early IDF Sherman Storage Boxes, Part 2, SIM-010, also feature boxes seen on the Shermans featured in Lion and Lioness of the Line, volumes 5 & 6.

Each set consists of 2 resin boxes and retails for $14.00 per set plus shipping.
